Elm section 434. 53a says that eligible employees who are required to work on their holiday or designated holiday are paid. Websome pays you 8 hrs of holiday pay (regular pay) plus whatever hours you work that same week. If you are a hourly employee, the 8 hrs doesn't count towards any overtime.
